Sick of failing your goals? Here is the solution!

 


  At the beginning of any year, lots of people write their goals; But, unfortunately, they find out at the end of it that they didn't achieve almost anything. 


  How to avoid that in 2021? 

The best way to solve any problem is to know what causes that problem. 

Here are the major factors that bring failure. 


  1. Writing many goals : 



When you write a lot of tasks to do, your brain will be so distracted that you can't concentrate or complete almost any task.

So, make sure you write maximum 3 main goals for 2021, for example, Health, money, family; or health, friends, self-improve; ...

This will allow you to focus more and achieve more.

NB: as a beginner, you should concentrate on only 1 or 2 main goals ( but NOT MORE THAN 3 ) 

Focusing on " health " for example doesn't mean you'll pass over relations... But at least 50% of your time and energy will be invested in " health "; learning about healthy food, cooking, drinking more water, doing sport ... 


  2. Be specific and patient : 

Be specific with your goals.

Decompose your main goals into BABY STEPS.

To write this article, I started with a word, then added another word, and so on .. till I complete it.

In the same way, you'll reach whatever you want.

Just BE SPECIFIC and PATIENT. 

For example : 

To improve my health I need to do sport : 

- ask a coach which is the best kind of sport I should start with 

- upload an application of workout ( if I'm going to do sport at home )

- buy materials 

- start with 10min/day for a week ( with breaks ) 

- 15min /day the second week ( with breaks ) 

And so on...


  3. Commitment 

Motivation, like "heart beating", goes up and down.

Don't wait until you'll be motivated. START NOW! 

Besides, you should learn COMMITMENT. 

This is the key to achieve all your goals. 


Another way that can help you be committed -> the notion of " Mini Habits " 

  4. Build up Mini habits : 

There is a video on youtube which talked about " mini habits ". 

Good habits make people good and successful. However, it is not easy for most of us to stick to a new habit for a long time. 

The main cause for that is that we expect a lot from ourselves. It's OK to be ambitious, but we should be kind to ourselves. So, don't put pressure on yourself.

So, how could we build up a good habit which lasts for a long time? 

Well, it's easy. 

Follow these simple steps : 

1. Don't put many habits, one or two at a time.

2. Give each habit some minutes/day. Let me explain : 

For example: 

- Instead of 1h of sport, do only 5 to 10minutes 

- Instead of 20min pf reading a book, spend only 2minutes, or read only one page/day 

- and so on ... 

Make sure you don't give any habit more than 10min/day 


  5. Review your goals each month


The millionaire Dan Lok said : "if you don't reach your daily income goal, you won't reach your weekly income goal; If you don't reach your weekly income goal, you won't reach your monthly income goal; if you don't reach your monthly income goal, you won't reach your yearly income goal." 

That's it! 

Don't wait till the end of the year. You can save your 2021, by doing a review every month to see whether you are doing well or you should change the strategy. 


  6. Be optimist :



Think positively, you should have the bee's eye which looks at flowers only. Not the fly's eyes that look at trash.

Whenever you feel you are no more okay. Just say TOMORROW WILL BE BETTER.

Because it will! 

Always ask yourself how could I improve my lifestyle? How could I be better than yesterday? 

And be proud of your baby steps. Because, you are progressing while other people are only dreaming, or waiting for the magic opportunity. 

When you achieve 1/10 of your tasks. Be proud of the one. And ask yourself: How could this 1/10 improve? What are the mistakes that I had done which made me fail the 9/10? 

Don't be afraid of failure, because it's the best teacher.

  7. surround yourself with positive people, things, quotes: 



This will give you a forward push when you are not OK. When you may be are about to give up. 

However, this is not really very important, because WE ARE STRONG WITH OURSELVES.

Remember that! Even if the whole world is against you, you can still get whatever you want. Just TRUST and BELIEVE IN YOURSELF.
